- Day 1: Montezuma’s Castle- games, hiking, ping pong
- Night 1: Dance
- Day 2: Grand Canyon – Bring spending money
- Day 3: Half day at Sedona, Half day at camp
- Night 3: Campfires, stories, s’mores

Airfare costs are non-refundable and student will be responsible for all flight costs. Flights must be booked with travel agency recommended by ETC or will be subject to cancellation. Trip subject to cancellation if a minimum number of participants is not met.
Out of state students will need to arrive on 10/10 they will stay at a hotel near PHX airport with ETC chaperones. There will be an extra fee of $25.
The trip can be made in 2 installments of $199.50.
- First payment is due 9/8
- Second or full payment due 9/22
Registration closes on 9/22. All flights must be booked by 9/20
Cancellation policy: $100 cancellation fee up until 9/8. After 9/22 no refunds will be issued.

What should you bring?
- Passport- students are not allowed to travel without one
- Money for personal expenses such as lunches, and other personal items you wish to purchase while on the tour
Clothing & Other Needed Items
- Comfortable shoes with toes
- Swimming suit
- Long pants, jackets or sweatshirt, shorts, short sleeve top, shower shoes or flip flops
- Rain coat/Poncho if weather indicates rain
- *Please pay attention to forecast and pack accordingly. Do NOT overpack
- Cell Phone
- MP3 or I-Pod
- Items to share about your country with others
- (Don’t forget batteries and chargers for your electronic items!!)
- Flashlight w/ new batteries
- Water bottle
- Day pack/Back pack
- Sleeping bag
- Lip Balm/Sunscreen
When can I book my flight?
Flights can only be booked once the student receives an email stating to do so and should only be booked through STA. If a less expensive flight is found by the student, it must be approved by me prior to booking. If they do not get approval first, they may be asked to cancel and re-book within the allotted times.
Why Should I sign up early for the tours?
The advantage to signing up early is to reserve your spot on the tour, we close the tour at 100 students. Signing up early also allows students to get better deals on flights to each city. The closer to the tour dates the higher the flight costs so sign up early and save a lot of money!
What is included in the price of the tour?
We pack a lot into each tour! Here’s what you get: accommodations, breakfast & dinners (lunch not included), ground transportation including charter buses, ferries, and other forms of transportation, entrance fees to all museums visited, tickets to all entertainment activities on the tour, full time tour guides, and security services.
How early can I book my flight after registering for the tour?
We will alert you once the tour has met the minimum 40 students signed up. We want you to have the best flight and price possible which is why early registration is so important.
How many students per room?
We try to make the tours as affordable as possible so we place 4 students in a double bedded room. This means you will share a bed with another student. If you would like to have your own bed you can pay an extra fee.
Can I choose who I room with on the tour?
You can alert ETC of room preferences and they will do their best to accommodate those requests.
Will we be supervised the entire time?
Yes, ETC chaperones and Edelweiss tours will be overseeing all activities for student safety.
Can I take an UBER/Lyft from the airport or hotel?
No, you are not permitted at any time to take alternative transportation other than those provided by Edelweiss Tours.
Will someone pick me up at the airport?
Yes, we will have a representative from Edelweiss Tours waiting at your assigned flights baggage carousel. Look for the representative who will be holding an Edelweiss Tour/ETC sign in hand. We will also make sure you get safely back to the airport at the end of the tour.
What if I need to cancel after booking the tour?
Since you will be registering for our tours through ETC they will have all the cancellation terms if the need arises.
Will there be free time offered on each tour?
Yes, we offer free time each day on the tour. We know many of you would like to shop for items that are specifically from the city we are visiting. We make sure especially to give you roughly an hour for lunch each day.
Can I go on all the tours?
Absolutely! We love having you join as many as possible. Here is your chance to see some of America’s best cities and sights. We even offer our students who do all 4 tours something very special in Hawaii!
Can one of my host siblings join me on the tour?
Yes, every year we have host siblings join us on these tours. You will just need to get the ok from ETC upon signing up.
