Hosting our exchange student this year was an amazing blessing for our family!
I knew it would be great, but the experience was even better than we could have imagined. We had so much laughter, fun and memories from our year together. She was an amazing role model for our kids, especially for my preteen daughter. She worked hard at school and fit right in with all of our family’s routines and expectations. She participated in school sports and made friends, wanting to experience everything that an American high school student would experience. She definitely became part of our family. ETC provided great support and did a terrific job selecting a wonderful exchange student for us. We are hoping to visit her and her family in Italy next summer and I’m sure we will be hosting again soon!
