Local Coordinators (LC’s) help us mentor our foreign exchange students. They support our exchange students and host families with any challenges. LC’s also help us recruit host families through local networking.
We will help you complete the application and answer any questions you may have about the local coordinator position.

Develop local connections in the community, whereby to recruit host families as well as interview and screen them.
Conduct student and family orientations via the use of Power Point/script.
Monitor student progress monthly, during a student activity or personal visit.
Provide a pre-departure/re-entry orientation to all students.
Local Coordinators have 24 hours to respond to ETC staff.
This is an Independent Contractor Position. You will be paid a placement fee as you place students. Placement fees range from $700 - $1600 per student based on the length of the program
This is an Independent Contractor Position. You put forth as much effort as you wish. The average coordinator that places 5-10 students per year works 5-10 hours per week. There is no set time commitment, however once you place students you are required to do monthly contact reports and bi-monthly visits with students and families and be available for emergencies.
We extend Management Positions to those individuals who show success by placing a minimum of 10 students.
